Adam & Company bring wealth management to life at Borders Book Festival

3 June 2024 in News

We are delighted that Adam & Company will be the major sponsor of Borders Book Festival, 13 – 16 June, in Melrose in the Scottish borders this year.

We will bring an enlightened spirit to the celebrated book festival in Scotland, as we host two special events during the week.

The real-life ‘Chariot of Fire’

Firstly, in celebration of 100 years since Scottish Olympian Eric Liddell achieved gold at the Paris Olympics, an Adam & Company event will present a discussion of Sally Magnussons’s new biography of the great sportsman, ‘The Flying Scotsman: The Eric Liddell Story’. Sally will be joined in conversation with Allan Wells, winner of a gold medal for the 100m event in 1980. Also joining the two are Eilidh Doyle, Olympic and Commonwealth Medallist and ambassador for the Eric Liddell 100 programme, and Sue Canton, Eric Lidell’s niece.

We hope that the event is a fantastic demonstration of the true story that inspired ‘Chariots of Fire’ and the commitment shown to a great achievement, which Adam & Company aspire to do every day as we meet the financial objectives of our clients.

Ending our evening in harmony

Our second event at the Borders Book festival involves welcoming comedian Rory Bremner to close the evening on a high.

Rory will be performing at the Harmony marquee to conclude our event at the festival. For years, Rory has developed a deep relationship with the crowd he performs for. We hope this is true of the relationships we build with our clients: putting their long-term wealth first and foremost.
